Hi all,

Hope everyone made the most of the sunshine over the weekend and got outdoors for some vitamin D action.

With the Eagles taking apart a dismal North Melbourne side by 96 and the Dockers ripping through Geelong by 16 the WA teams have sent a strong message to the rest of the field to watch out!

Even the Rugby fans had something to cheer about with the Qantas Wallabies getting up 26/19 against South Africa over the weekend.

A Big Congratulations goes out to our Paralympians as well for a fifth place finish in the 2012 games. With outstanding performances in the pool from Jacqueline Freney (8), and Matthew Cowdrey (5).

West Coast shake the Blues Away!

Well if you were anything like us watching the eagles vs the blues game on saturday night then we’ll see you at the gym burning off those extra calories, consumed due to the high amount of stress related drinking that went on! What a game!! I thought we would cruise home about 20 point clear winners, and it looked like my money was good  until the Blues little blokes (Gibbs and ) showed their speed and skill under pressure and brought their team to within 3 points. But even with a victorian time keeper in the box giving them all the time in the world (35min 4th quater) our mighty Eagles held strong and now find themselves facing a massive task of taking down a fresh Geelong. No matter how next week ends, to come from Wooden spooners to top 4 in the space of 12 months is an amazing feat and something they should be very proud of. Now Bring on the Cats!
